Our Story
E3Live Australia is comprised of two Directors, Dr. Deborah Wood and Tim McClew.
Debbie Wood is an Immunologist and Microbiologist PhD (with Institute of Technology Diploma - majoring in Medical) who has published papers in these fields and is an accomplished lecturer across a number of academic fields. Debbie has over thirty-five years of experience in the field of treating immune system disorders – her primary focus has shifted towards the use of natural therapeutic alternatives (as opposed to pharmacological medicines) in treating her patients' illnesses. Debbie founded and operated Wood Scientific, this was one of the largest biotechnology companies in the southern hemisphere, specializing in developing her own line of tissue culture products. Previously she was the Australian Product Manager for Grand Island Biologicial Company (GIBCO) within Medos in Australia, where she also formulated the New York City growth medium. She has also acted as a consultant for the cellular biology division of the Garvin Institute of Medical Reserch, and was a consultant/advisor CSIRO (Division of Molecular and Genetic Biology). She has strong ties to both Allopathic and Non-traditional Health Professional networks across Australia and New Zealand. Her use of particular products has created a very close business relationship with such outstanding companies as Sigma Chemical company (USA St Louis) and Crown Corning. She has also created specific formulations for use in treating particular disorders.
Tim McClew has been involved in the health and wellness field for nearly a decade – he was drawn to the business side of the health food industry after spending several years studying nutritonal philosophies from a variety of experts, including David Wolfe and Dr. Gabriel Cousins. Tim entered into the burgeoning healthy living sector in Toronto, Canada, by co-managing a 'high end' cafe/juice bar which also distributed a select range of superfoods and wholefood supplements. It was during this time that Tim forged a bond with Oregon, USA-based E3Live, harvester and distributor of the most effective, nutrient-dense food on the marketplace It was through his relationship with E3Live that Tim met Dr. Wood, as she was interested in using this algae with her patients.
